Steel Fighters Update 1 went live on Roblox on October 23, 2026 and brought a Codes machine, an Index of robots, server events, a Spin Wheel, Space Trials and two Titan bosses, plus a set of balance changes and fixes. This page rewrites the patch notes that were posted in the official Discord and quoted by Sportskeeda, and says what is still unknown.
Steel Fighters Update 1 release date
The update was released on October 23, 2026 at 21:00 UTC (9 PM UTC). The notes were posted in the official Steel Fighters Discord, and Sportskeeda published its write-up on October 24, 2026.
Overworld additions
- Upgrades machine. Buy upgrades that give buffs. The list and prices are not published.
- Codes machine. Redeem special codes, and hunt for secret codes hidden around the map. Working codes are on the Steel Fighters codes page.
- Index. A catalog of every robot that exists in the game.
- Events. Buy a server-wide effect with Robux; the Steel Fighters events guide lists all six.
- Spin Wheel. Spin for exclusive items. The Steel Fighters free robot guide covers what is known about free rewards.
- Junkyard Titan. A new boss that pays out Cash, Scrap and more; see Steel Fighters bosses.
- New parts. More than 50 new robot parts you can buy, covered in Steel Fighters parts.
Space additions
- Trials. Defeat robots alone or with friends.
- Star Machine. Spend your stars on a stat boost for your robots.
- Trial Shop. Sells items that make the Trial Arena easier.
- Black Hole. Feed it robot parts to receive rewards.
- Space Titan. A second boss with Cash, Scrap and more as rewards.
Bosses spawn every 40 minutes. The Steel Fighters Space guide covers what is known about the area.
New features
- Perfect trait. A robot built from all six parts of the same robot gets +10% stats, including robots you already own. See Steel Fighters robots.
- Index rewards. Finish a whole tier of the Index to claim a reward and a permanent boost.
- Early parts setting. Pick which robot tiers the lever rolls.
Balance changes
- Trials and Infinite mode are easier.
- The arena Cash limit now grows as you climb, and much faster from floor 300 (Steel Fighters floors).
- The arena Scrap limit is raised to 25K per drop, and x2 Drops and Arena Frenzy can go past it.
- x2 Money, the Money Potion, x2 Drops and Black Hole Money now multiply your total Cash (Steel Fighters game passes).
- Black Hole buffs last 15 minutes.
- The Space Junkyard gives x2.5 Scrap (Steel Fighters Junkyard).
The notes do not mention titles, and the Steel Fighters titles list we use dates from October 21, before the update, so whether any title changed is unconfirmed.
Bug fixes
- Auto Trial moves on as soon as a room is cleared and no longer goes back.
- Travel to the Trial lobby works again.
- The Events machine in the Space Junkyard is fixed.
- The notes also mention other, unspecified bug fixes.
After Update 1
Roblox shows the game as last updated on October 25, 2026 at 00:08 UTC, after Update 1, so at least one more patch went live. That timestamp marks a publish, not a version number, and no notes for it have been published in the sources we checked. We will add the changes to Steel Fighters updates once they are confirmed, and our Steel Fighters Discord page links the official server, where the Update 1 notes were posted.
