Steel Fighters robots are the fighters you build in this Roblox game by WeShowProjects, and the developer says their parts come from more than 100 different robots. No reliable source publishes a robot roster or part stats yet, so this page sticks to the mechanics that are confirmed and says plainly where the gaps are.
How Steel Fighters robots work
You do not pick a finished fighter. You assemble one from six parts, which Sportskeeda describes as limbs, a torso and a head, and you can mix parts from different robots freely. Slot details are in the Steel Fighters parts guide.
Robots are also grouped into tiers. Update 1 added an Index and a lever setting that both work by tier, but the tier names and the number of tiers have not been published. If you are brand new, the Steel Fighters beginner guide covers your first build.
How to get new robots
Four routes are confirmed, and only one of them names a robot:
- The lever. The lever machine sells robot parts, and Update 1 added more than 50 new ones. An Early parts setting lets you choose which robot tiers it rolls.
- The free robot. Like the game and join the WeShowProjects group on Roblox. The robot's name, rarity and stats are not published and the claim steps are not documented, so check the Steel Fighters free robot guide for the latest.
- Favoriting. Favoriting the game gives free robot parts, though which parts is not published.
- A code. The Atom robot is granted by a secret code together with 1 Golden Dice. Destructoid calls it legendary, but no other outlet repeats that. Current rewards are on the Steel Fighters codes page.
The Perfect trait
Update 1 added the Perfect trait: a robot whose six parts all come from the same robot gets +10% stats. Sportskeeda notes it also works on robots you already own,. It is the only confirmed stat bonus for Steel Fighters robots, and it comes from the Steel Fighters Update 1 patch notes.
That sets up a real trade-off. Mixing parts is the headline feature, but a matching set earns a flat bonus. Until part stats are published nobody can say whether a mixed build with stronger parts beats a matched set, so test both on the Steel Fighters floors.
Upgrading and fusing robots
Three titles show that robots can be built, upgraded and fused, even though the rules for each are not published:
- The Master Builder title: build 60 robots for +14% Luck.
- The Engineer title: upgrade your robots 500 times for +18% Arena Damage.
- The Fusion Master title: do 30 robot fusions for +18% Arena Damage.
What fusion produces, what upgrades cost and how far a robot can be upgraded are all unknown. Destructoid says upgrading bots into elite chassis takes a lot of Scrap and Cash, so Scrap from the Steel Fighters Junkyard is worth collecting alongside Cash.
The Steel Fighters Index and its rewards
Update 1 added an Index that shows every existing robot, grouped by tier. Completing a whole tier lets you claim a reward and a permanent boost. The size of the boost is not published, and the in-game Index is the only complete list of Steel Fighters robots we know of.
Because the lever's Early parts setting also works by tier, it should help when you are filling a tier, though how it changes your odds is not published.
Best robot in Steel Fighters
No source we trust publishes stats for Steel Fighters robots, so any named best robot would be a guess, and we will not name one. Look for these instead:
- A full six-part set from one robot, for the +10% Perfect trait.
- Rarer parts. The x2 Luck pass talks about rare parts on the lever, so tier appears to matter, but the size of the gap is unknown.
- Boosts outside the robot. The Star Machine in Steel Fighters Space spends stars on a stats boost for your robots, and Arena Damage titles raise your damage. The Steel Fighters tier list ranks every title by buff size.
- Your own results. Swap one part at a time and compare how far the build climbs.
We will add a robot ranking once named robots with stats appear in a reliable source.
