How to get the Steel Fighters free robot
The game page asks for two actions on Roblox, and a third step finishes the job:
- Like the game on its Roblox page.
- Join the WeShowProjects group. Entry is public, and the group had about 908,000 members when we checked.
- Rejoin the game. The developer has not documented the exact claim steps, so this is the sensible last step rather than a confirmed one.
GameRant and Destructoid both repeat the group and like requirement. What is not documented is the robot's name, its rarity and stats, and where in the game it is delivered. If it does not appear, check that the like and the group membership are both active, rejoin, and ask in the official Discord, which is linked on our Steel Fighters Discord page.
Free parts for favoriting the game
Favoriting the game is a separate reward: the developer promises free robot parts for it. Which parts you receive has not been published. More than 868,000 players had favorited the game on October 24, 2026, so it is a one-click step worth doing on day one. Parts are the pieces every robot is built from, and the Steel Fighters parts guide explains the six slots and the lever.
Friends bonus: +50% Cash
The developer lists +50% Cash for playing with friends. It costs nothing, unlike the x2 Money pass, which is priced in the Steel Fighters game passes table. The description does not say how many friends you need or how the bonus combines with passes, titles and boosts, so we cannot say how much it adds on top of them. Servers hold up to 12 players.
Free rewards from codes
Update 1 added a Codes machine and hid secret codes around the map. Codes hand out Cash, Scrap, Steel Pass XP, timed Luck, Money and damage boosts, Golden Dice, a Golden Hammer, Skip Tickets and Rerolls. Two secret codes give permanent boosts of +10% Cash and +10% Arena Damage, and another gives an exclusive Atom robot. Codes can hand out a robot too, so check them even if you already have the Steel Fighters free robot.
Outlets disagree on the Cash and Scrap amounts, so we list reward types only. Every working code is on the Steel Fighters codes page. To redeem one, finish the tutorial, then use the Codes machine in the Junkyard area next to the Events machine; the Steel Fighters Junkyard guide shows what else is nearby.
Other free rewards
- Spin Wheel. Added in Update 1, it gives exclusive items. What it contains and how you get spins are not published.
- Index rewards. Complete a whole tier of the Index to claim a reward and a permanent boost. The Steel Fighters robots guide explains the Index.
- Steel Pass. Some codes give pass XP, and reaching tier 40 with Premium unlocks the Steel Champion title. The tier rewards, tier count and Premium price are unknown.
