The Steel Fighters Junkyard is the area in the Roblox robot-fighting game where you collect junk and turn it into Scrap. It also holds Junkyard raids and the Codes and Events machines, and Update 1 on October 23, 2026 added the Junkyard Titan boss and raised the Scrap from the Junkyard in Space. This guide covers every Scrap source that has been confirmed and the machines you will pass on the way.
What the Steel Fighters Junkyard is
The developer's description sends you to the dangerous Junkyard to collect Scrap, but it never explains what makes the place dangerous. Scrap works alongside Cash: Destructoid says upgrading robots takes a lot of both, though no source lists everything Scrap can buy.
The Junkyard Titan, an overworld boss that pays Cash and Scrap, is covered in the Steel Fighters bosses guide. If you are new, the Steel Fighters beginner guide shows the order to do things in.
How to get Scrap
These are the confirmed ways to earn Scrap:
- Deliver junk. You carry junk home and hand it in for Scrap. The Scrap value of each piece has not been published.
- Scrap titles. The Scrapper title needs 100 junk delivered for +9% Scrap, and the Junk Tycoon title needs 1,000 for +22% Scrap.
- Passes. The x2 Scraps pass (199 Robux on October 24, 2026) doubles the Scrap you earn, and the VIP pass adds +15% Money and Scrap. See Steel Fighters game passes for the full list.
- Golden Hour. This 1-minute server event gives x2 Scrap in the Junkyard and makes everyone run faster.
- Arena drops. Arena floors drop Scrap too, capped at 25K per drop since Update 1.
Two more server events touch the Junkyard. Lightning Storm lasts 20 seconds, overcharges robots and makes junk rarer, while Meteor Shower lasts 20 seconds and drops overclocked treasure.
Junkyard raids
Steel Fighters Junkyard raids exist, but no source explains how they start, what happens in one or what they pay. The only hard fact is the Raider title: win 100 Junkyard raids for +14% Scrap. If you chase Scrap, that is the middle step between Scrapper and Junk Tycoon in buff size.
The Space Junkyard
Space has a Junkyard of its own, and since Update 1 it gives x2.5 Scrap. The patch notes also mention an Events machine there, which had a bug fixed. How to reach Space has not been published; the Steel Fighters Space guide lists what is known about that area.
Machines near the Junkyard
The Codes machine stands in the Junkyard area next to the Events machine. Sportskeeda places both beside one of the Junkyard's entry zones, and OfficialCodeZone describes a blue code machine on the outskirts of the Junkyard in the middle of the map. Finish the tutorial first, then press E at the machine to redeem a code. Some codes pay Scrap, but the amounts differ between code lists, so we publish none. The current list is on the Steel Fighters codes page.
The Events machine sells server-wide boosts for Robux, including Golden Hour. Details, lengths and effects are in Steel Fighters events.
